Are you looking for a great deal on purchasing a gypsy.. if yes.. then you must

check out    cricut.com  $99.00  Getting a Gypsy has been the best.  I love mine.  I know several of you have gotten a Gypsy in the last several months and hear you really like it.  I take mine everywhere and keep it charged!!  You never know.  Today, I came upon an accident that just happened. (47th exit south just before the toll) driver hit those big yellow garbage cas type at a construction area just before 47th..  I was getting my Gypsy out.  BUT it turned out that I and the truck before me, they let us through due to probably being in the way of the firetrucks.  Driver not hurt, but I think maybe been drinking, the way he was still in the car shaking the wheel of the car.   anywaysssss....  sorry for the long drawn story.. but I had my gypsy already  lol

TIPSY - a flexible stylus for your gypsy a must read :)

 this site I will attach is a tipsy for your gypsy. it wrap around your finger and works on your gypsy.  i have broken my gypsy pointer due to the fact I have had a stroke (years ago) and have tendititis - I heard this TIPSY is a must.

so go to this site and pay shipping and handling  ($3.99) and get the tipsy.  I just ordered mine.

flower Soft... have you heard of these yet??

I was at Frozen in Time (maize rd) on saturday browsing around and saw these awesome cards that had a 3d effect....  I was in Awe and also broke...  so...  I just asked a lot of questions and drooled a bit over the awesome colors.  (can you imagine that huh??  lol)

well... the flower soft is also the name of the company.  It is a "flock" style look.  There is a glue that you put on the area of interest and you put this 'flower soft' stuff on it and it gives it an awesome awesome look!!  

They had as an example a tree (autum look) and used colors of fall on these branches.  it was AWESOME...

let me know if you have used it or will try it..  :)  curious....   I someday hope to have these lil containers....

There is so much going on in April for Brenda and I that we decided to skip a month.  IF you would love to play during the week sometime - let me know..

I do have a challenge for you...   How about in May or you can e-mail me sooner... share a project that you have made using your Cricut other than making cards or a scrap page.    There is so much to make using the cricut.. possibilities are really endless...

good morning... just some info to share

the cards sent to you yesterday via here were previews to the card swap that we are doing.  I love Rosemary's cards!!  The exchange will be done this weekend.  I would like to do the exchange Friday night.  BUT if you are unable to be there but have cards..  I will collect them and  share.  I know there are several of us that are going to SWAP...    don't forget the instructions so that I can post them.

Tomorrow night.. 4th Friday from 5 to 9:00.  I will be there a lil early so come play and/or visit.  I enjoy seeing you this time of month for I don't get to much during the rest of the days.  ;(
Bring a snack to share and remember you can leave your "stuff" till Saturday.  The room is locked after we leave.

I am thinking I would like to take the picture on Friday night for the Cricut.com swarm drawing.  perhaps one of Saturday too... 

Saturday.. 8am to 2.   Hope to spend some learning.  I do have a couple of things I learned about the Gypsy.. So I would love to tell you about it!!

On your computer screen you have the box that says cricut sync.....  click on this to update your gypsy.   If you have Design studio...  go to the cricut.com site.

have you registered all your cartridges?? gypsy machine??  cricut machines???  They have been emphasizing on registering....  I can this could be a hint.. perhaps.  i don't know but it can't hurt only help you if something was to happen to a cartridge, etc..

I finished my 1st card for the card swap for March... and half done on the 2nd card.  and you??  I'm excited to see your card...    have any questions about this swap.. e-mail me or make a comment on this post.

we had alot of fun this month just working on projects.  I should have taken pictures (someone remind me next month :) )  Brenda worked on valentine cards which was pretty.  Nancy worked on or shall I say was working on as we all learned something this weekend about making envelopes. (yeesh)  so much paper was wasted.. Sorry Nancy ;0.  But in the end she got it figured out and it was really pretty!  Margo worked on cards she is making for make n takes.  She got alot done!  Myself, Doris worked on well a couple of cards using the Gypsy download of  Smiley cartridge.  the trashcan using the peachy keen stamps.  i will copy when finished  (yup.. that's right.. i never really finished as I was to busy talking.)
hmmmm... What was rosemary working on... I can't remember. (sorry.... I should have visited more than just talking)  remind me please.....  BUT she made this really cool vinyl name on the back of her expression.  i will post it.    As usual...  we had alot of fun. munching on goodies and learning from one another.

finally i am on-line update info

my what a month December was,,,  my computer crashed and then we lost internet just to finally discover that our wireless router was done with us...   I got for my birthday/mother day/whatver else my hubby can get away with... I have a laptop computer for the first time. 

getting it all together will be fun.  please be patient with me as I will get all of our last crop on the site.  Better late than never...  wouldn't you say!

I trust everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. AND then.... made it through Black Friday shopping... I for the first time went shopping (I worked for walmart for 15yrs and worked every black Friday) had very little money BUT we had fun. My friend Tiffany dragged... me out. well... Caffeine was my friend :0 LOL from 10:45pm to 6:45am.  OMG!! Was I tired!  I got my shopping done! Anyone get the new pretty expression or cartridges from Walmart??  The new Cricut lites are adorable!!  I got Inspired heart (religious based) and Jolly Holidays. I do believe will become my new fav...  and you???  ps... these are my Christmas presents  lol

SO.. We have less than a week and we get to play...  YEAH!!  Have you started gathering your Christmas goodies? got enough tape? stickers? stamps? ribbon? paper?.. would be good  (lol)  are you making your base card or purchasing the preplanned ones with envelopes?  me.. both!   (SEE..previous post for more ideas)

TIME:  Friday I will be there at 5pm  and 8ish on Saturday... My time to get it done...    so join me at any time...


I've started looking at my Christmas paper and getting ideas for what design I want to use.  So many cuts.. so little time.  LOL   Just look through your cartridges and start cutting a little at a time and putting them aside so you have a good head start.  (just a thought)  look at the library on cricut.com and see what other cuts you like that "we" might have for you to use. OR look at the blogs for ideas.
